Established in Beaune in 1731, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the oldest Maisons in Burgundy. During the early 19th century, the winery moved into Château de Beaune. Its headquarters and offices are still housed in the castle's fortifications, built by Louis XI in 1482.
Bouchard Père & Fils has 130 hectares in Côte d'Or, of which 12 hectares are Grands Crus and 74 hectares are Premiers Crus. Over the centuries, the winery has established one of the most prestigious domaines in Burgundy, renowned for the exceptional quality of its wines and rich diversity of its vineyards.
For over 280 years, Bouchard Père & Fils has brought a combination of tradition and innovation to its production techniques to ensure its wines fully express their terroir of origin.
Over time, the winery has built one of the most important winemaking domaines in Burgundy. It is notable for its diversity, with almost a hundred different climats and prestigious monopoles like Beaune Grèves Vigne de l'Enfant Jesus or Beaune du Château.
Bouchard Père & Fils boasts an incomparable Burgundian legacy thanks to its diversity and celebrated appellations: Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Corton, Corton-Charlemagne, Cerrado-Vougeot, Chambertin, Beaune Grèves Vigne de l'Enfant Jesus, Caillerets Volnay, Meursault Perrières, and others.
